2nd Jan 2020Rail fares have INCREASED in the UK today by between 2 and 3%. The excuse being, they are updating the trains, putting charging points, USB connections and WiFi on them? All of them? I doubt it very much. Lies will be exposed.
Meanwhile in Germany train fares have been REDUCED by 10% as part of the effort to get more cars off the road to reduce global warming. Every country should do it! Every fucking country!
Every single German or Dutch train I have been on in the last 5 years has WiFi, charging points and USB ports, they even have beer! So as usual Britain is 5 years behind. French and Polish trains also have these facilities. Italy didn't on all trains but the train turned up when it supposed to do and tickets are very cheap compared to the British thieves who operate the railways. There are even double decker trains in The Netherlands!
Meanwhile we have a new sprout on an orchid we thought was dead. I cleaned the window frames while I was there as well. Astrid made bread and I sprayed sunflower oil onto the mould. Joint effort!
Todays music: I am listening to Focus whilst writing this. It's been a long time.
Main meal: Pork shoulder and baked beans with onions, tikka powder and parsley. Really gone up market today!
